More information about previous performances and the history of the company will be available in early 2015 in a publication by Thomas JM Wilson, celebrating the last twenty years of Gandini Juggling.
Highlights from previous performances:
2006 The Sweet Life: Initially commissioned by the Greenwich and Docklands festival, this cheeky celebratory piece premiered to great acclaim in Trafalgar Square and has since been seen in fountains and squares across the world.
2008 Stop Breaking My Balls: Directed by John Paul Zacharini and choreographed by Gill Clarke, this piece places a mirror to the real life relationship of Sean and Kati. Accompanied by the mesmerising musical saw of Guy Bellingham.
2011 Motet: A mixture of anarchy and almost neurotic longing for control. Objects float, collapse, fly and smash in a hypnotic stream through the history of jugglers’ art.
2011 Zéphyr: A collaboration with L’Ensemble, Orchestre de Basse Normandi, France. Continuing our ongoing commitment to work with live music and to treat juggling as a joyously choreographable art form, this was a foray into large scale theatre, rediscovering Vivaldi’s ‘Four Seasons’.
